Unicorn Clubtail - Arigomphus villosipes (Selys, 1854)

Range & Habitat:

Recorded throughout the northern half of the state. A Cumberland county record suggests it should be looked for more closely on the coastal plain.

Found in a variety of small to medium ponds and lakes, often rather muddy or mucky, some really gruesome looking.
