Lyre-tipped Spreadwing - Lestes unguiculatus (Hagen, 1861)

This is a species of concern. Please report any encounters to Odonata Central.

Range & Habitat:

While there are records from scattered locations in the state, it had not been recorded since the early 1900s until a small population was located in Sussex County in 1995. Time will tell if this was a temporary or if this group persists.
