Found locally throughout the state.



Most common in bogs and fens.

Description:

Tiny. The thorax is emerald green dorsally and blue ventrally. The tip of the abdomen (S8,9 & 10) is solidly blue.


Compare Sedge Sprite and Southern Sprite.

State: S4S5 Apparently to demonstrably secure in New Jersey
Global: G5 Secure globally, but possibly rare in parts of its range
