Range & Habitat:

Individuals that seem to fall definitively in this group have been observed in a few counties. More work is needed to remove confusion about this and closely related species.



Elsewhere, seems to be more commonly associated with temporary ponds than others in the complex.

A little red bug with black triangles down the sides of the abdomen and a yellowish face. Not identifiable in the field in New Jersey; click here for a discussion of this complex.
